Blaire Brush comes to New Mexico thanks to her military family. Her husband is the State Senior Enlisted Advisor for the New Mexico National Guard. Prior to making New Mexico home, Blaire and her family lived in the Washington, DC area and Billings, MT.
Blaire moved to Montana after earning her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. For 13 years Blaire was a broadcast journalist, serving as reporter, anchor and News Director at the NBC affiliate in Billings. She then spent five years as the Director of Career Services at Rocky Mountain College and also earned her master’s degree in Organization Management. Currently Blaire is a facilitor for employment workshops for transitioning military members. She helps them prepare for their postmilitary careers, inluding resume development, interview preparation and newtworking strategies.
Blaire has always enjoyed being involved in her community and military family programs. She’s worked with the Montana Family Readiness Program, served as a TAPS Ambassador, volunteered for United Through Reading and the USO Service Council, and enjoys advocating for military families. She’s also been a member of the Billings Education Foundation Board, involved with Rotary International, served as public relations chair for American Cancer Society Relay for Life and was an organizer and emcee of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women annual event.
