Dr. Bob Mallin will be giving a presentation on Civil War medicine at the New Mexico Military Museum to supplement the museum’s Civil War Exhibit, New Mexico’s Civil War. This exhibit was delayed due to the Covid-19 shutdown and never received an official opening.

This exhibit is an interactive display that introduces the viewer to major players, locations, and events of the Civil War in the New Mexico Territory.

Date: November 10, 2021

Time: Doors open at 5:30 pm. Program to run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Location: 1050 Old Pecos Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87505

Cost: This is a free event. However, this is a fundraising event and donations would be most welcome.

The New Mexico Military Museum Foundation, Inc., will be hosting an event at the New Mexico Military Museum as a fundraising opportunity.

Mr. Roy Eichhorn, a founding member of the Ghost Army Legacy Project, will present the amazing history of the top-secret 23rd Headquarters Special Troops unit. This unit was primarily made up of artists and engineers. They created inflatable tanks, jeeps, as well as other vehicles. They produced false radio chatter and played sound effects to trick German forces.
